# Installing the AI Chat Widget

> Learn how to install the Support AI chat widget.

The Support AI widget powers live chat and your AI assistant on your website. It takes just one snippet of code to get started.

## 📌 Option 1: Manual Installation

1. In your Support AI dashboard, go to **Settings > Install Widget**.
2. Copy the JavaScript snippet.
3. Paste it just before the closing `</body>` tag on your website:
   ```html
   <script src="https://cdn.supportai.com/widget.js" data-supportai-id="YOUR-WIDGET-ID"></script>
   ```
4. Save and publish your site.

## ⚙️ Option 2: WordPress Plugin

If you use WordPress, we’ve made it even easier:

1. Install the **Support AI** plugin from the [WordPress Plugin Directory](https://wordpress.org/plugins/supportai/)
2. Paste in your widget ID from the dashboard.
3. Click “Save” — you’re live.
